Filter differential pressure curve (empty cylinder) – 0.9 specific gravity of oil
◆ – FF03
The differential pressure of the filter (empty cylinder) and the differential pressure of the bypass valve directly correspond to the specific gravity of the fluid and increase or decrease in proportion to the difference
Filter differential pressure parameter
-
AA/AB/AC/AD-superior service life and removal rate of 99.5% or more at 3, 5, 10 and 20 microns. The filter material uses inert inorganic fibers by Polyester non-woven fabric heat bonding fixed fibers to achieve high filtration efficiency Maintenance; and the use of EPOXY two-liquid epoxy resin combined with the entire filter element to achieve its burst strength (300psid) and leak-free integrity. The upstream and downstream of the folded wave filter media are supplemented by a steel mesh support to achieve the resistance (300 psid) required for the frequency flow change during cold activation.
-
AE/AF/AG/AH-used to protect the forced filtration required by the servo valve and proportional valve (without bypass valve design), its burst pressure reaches 3000 psid. To provide full-time filtering protection.
Filter differential pressure calculation
Calculate and define the actual differential pressure value using the filter according to the filter data parameters provided above
Filter set ΔP = filter cartridge ΔP + filter cartridge ΔP
The flow rate and differential pressure curve of the filter cartridge are selected according to the parameter table of the flow rate and differential pressure of the filter element
Use the flow rate to correspond to the differential pressure value, and then use the flow rate and the oil product according to the parameters of the oil filter.
The specific gravity of the product and the test oil are proportional to the specific gravity and oil viscosity to calculate the filter differential pressure
Calculate the differential pressure of the filter cartridge ΔP = parameter × oil specific gravity ÷ 0.9 × oil viscosity
Filter cartridge ΔP = ΔP × oil specific gravity ÷ 0.9 ÷ 150 SUS (or × oil viscosity ÷ 32cSt)
Filter group ΔP = 16 × 0.88 ÷ 0.9 + 90 × 0.11 × 0.88 ÷ 0.9 × 200 ÷ 150
example:
FF0308NACBEN10 = 15.6 psid + 12.9 psid
Flow rate = 90 LPM
Oil viscosity = 200SUS = 28.5 psid
Specific gravity of oil = 0.88
Explanation of differential pressure calculation recommendations
Pro-Pure's filter element corresponds to a high amount of pollutant dirt, Pro-Pure recommends the calculation of the differential pressure of the filter group (when the filter element is still clean under the flow rate and oil operation) is the differential pressure value of the filter group is ΔP= 0.3× differential pressure indicator setting value (100 psid)

Pro-Pure filter cartridges are recommended for use in non-bypass forced filtration systems. This is suitable for the application of servo valves or proportional valves, and also allows the reverse flow device to provide load relief or feedback

The selection of bypass valve is suitable for various application needs. According to the ANSI 12.2.6 standard, the filter element of the filter group must not be damaged under all the differential pressure conditions of the filter operation; based on the integrity of the filter element without damage, a bypass device can be set. Generally speaking, the higher the bypass setting value, the greater the differential pressure range of the filter element and the longer the service life.
